Small Groups & Programs
Trinity United Methodist Small Groups
At Trinity United Methodist Church, we recognize small groups as a crucial part of our Discipleship Process. We encourage every member/attendee to join one of the small groups that the church offers. Small groups, make disciples by allowing us to come together with another small group of believers. In the small group, we help each other process God's story as it intersects with our personal lives. When an individual joins a small group, that person involves herself/himself in the gaining and processing of biblical knowledge in community and utilizes Scripture in order to understand life in relationship with God.
All Trinity United Methodist Small Groups listed are open to the public. CLICK ON A SMALL GROUP FOR MORE INFO.
Although not traditional small groups, Trinity United Methodist Church offers numerous programs on a weekly or yearly basis in order to help build a loving relationship with God. All Trinity United Methodist Programs listed below are open to the public. CLICK ON A PROGRAM NAME FOR MORE INFO.
The Men of Trinity United Methodist Church meet on the third Saturday of each month at 8 AM. The men gather for a free breakfast in the church fellowship hall. After the meal, the men share together in time of devotions. After devotions, there is a brief business meeting to discuss any areas of service the men can provide to the church or community. A free will offering is taken to cover the cost of the meal.
In addition to their monthly meetings, the men come together to host a Roast Beef Dinner. Proceeds from this dinner are used to fund the Men's Group Scholarship Fund. Scholarships are given out to high school graduates who have decided to go on for further education.
Yearly the Men's Group hosts a trip to a Spike's Baseball game for the church.

Bibles At The Bar
This outreach grew from a need to reach out into our immediate surroundings to bring the Word and a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to those who do not know him. Jeremiah 33:3 NIV states…. “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Jesus did not wait for others to come to him. He met them wherever they were and taught them. Teaching is a vital function, a must for those who have never heard the Gospel. Hosea 4:6 says… “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” We are trying to fill the void of that lack of knowledge by educating and bringing his sheep into the fold one by one, just where they are, as they are.
Please pray for our success and that it will bear fruit. We welcome each of you to join us on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 for dinner & Bible study at Trackside Tavern, a gathering that we have come to call… “Bibles at the
Bar”. Remember BYOB…Bring Your Own Bible.
The TUMC Youth Group is open to all youth in grades 6 through 12. We gather monthly on the second Sunday from 4:00 – 5:30 pm to laugh, learn, and grow in our relationships with God and one another.
We plan to host various meals at the Church this year, go on special trips, engage in local missions, play lots of games and eat lots of snacks!
Traditional Sunday School
9:15 AM - 10:15 AM
This is our traditional lecture style Sunday school class led by Jeff Richardson. This class meets in our church Sunday School Room. They use the NIV Standard Lesson Quarterly as their curriculum. Although primarily lecture style teaching, they also have some small group discussions. In addition to the lesson, they sing an opening and closing hymn.
Our choir joins together Thursday nights to practice at 6:30 PM. During the Sunday worship service the choir has a music ministry. They sing one song, hymn, or anthem each week for the church congregation. All are welcome to join the choir. Please contact Choir Director Nancy Brothers for more information.
VBS is a week long experience for children to deepen their relationship with God. VBS is an evening program offered one week each summer. During VBS we have fun skits, exciting games, tasty snacks, cool music, and neat crafts that will have you wanting to come back each week.
Vacation Bible School 2017 will be hosted at Trinity UMC from June 5th through June 9th. We will have a VBS picnic on Saturday June 10th to wrap up this years activities. Families are welcome to attend the closing picnic. This year we are partnering with Promise Ranch Ministries. They will be bringing in live animals for the closing celebration, Pastor Dan will be in a dunk tank, and there will be games, stories, food, and so much more!

In addition to food, we provide some form of entertainment including free passes to the local swimming pool! Read more about the program here.
Kidz Klub meets at the Church the second Sunday of every month from 4:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. in the adult Sunday School Room. All children in fifth grade and younger are welcome to attend. It is required that all children under the age of 5 be accompanied by an adult.
This group is a fun way for kids to learn about the Bible and Jesus Christ Our Savior. The usual activities include a Bible lesson, games, crafts, snacks and other fun activities.
Kidz Klub, although meets separately for lessons, also partners up with Trinity United Methodist Church Youth Group for special events. Some of which include events like the Mystery Meal, outreach projects and participation in Worship Services for special occasions such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
